Daniel Fish's reimagining of the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein musical OKLAHOMA! hits NYC after many years in the making. We made this show at Bard Summerscape festival in 2015, and we're all excited to finally bring it to the city. It's a beautiful and weird musical to start with, and our production just slightly nudges it into an even starker and more distilled version of itself. Re-scored for small folk band by the amazing Daniel Kluger, a band full of folk and new music all stars (Eleonore Oppenheim, Joe Brent, Brett Parnell, Hilary Hawke, Sarah Goldfeather, and Leah Coloff), choreo by John Heginbotham, music direction by yours truly. It'll be a great time.
